PRACTICE SUMMARY

Specialists in Medical Imaging (SMI) services three hospitals and additional outpatient imaging sites in the Central Illinois towns of Peoria and Pekin, Illinois. Single worklist allows for efficient reading across the practice. Broad range of subspecialty expertise present in the practice allows for easy consultation with peers for second opinions. POSITION DUTIRES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specialists in Medical Imaging (SMI) is seeking a hybrid day General Diagnostic Radiologist. Due to the broad range of subspecialty expertise already present in the practice, all fellowship training will be considered, including Body, Neuro, MSK, Emergency or Breast. Qualified candidates should be capable of handling the interpretation of most general diagnostic studies. This is a 1-year partnership track position with competitive salary and benefits.  

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hybrid)
  • Shift: 7:30am-5pm CST
  • Must be comfortable with most general diagnostic studies
  • Evening|Night coverage provided by separate dedicated night shift team
  • Equitable sharing of 1:6 weekends and evening/night call responsibilities
  • Internal moonlighting opportunities available if desired
  • Competitive salary with $100K Bonus

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship training in any subspecialty is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to secure an Illinois License

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $450,000-$500,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
