The Behavioral Lifebulb Counseling Center is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive therapeutic services tailored for a diverse clientele. As a remote role primarily focused on the school environment, the LCSW will maintain flexible office hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. This schedule ensures a healthy work-life balance with no evening or weekend commitments, allowing for focused and effective support to clients during school hours.

• Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans and coordinating the implementation of behavioral health services specific to individual client needs.
• Stay informed on current trends and best practices within local, state, and federal behavioral health programs to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating with various stakeholders including educational staff, primary care providers, and family members to foster a holistic support system for clients.
• Perform timely evaluations and assessments, ensuring an empathetic approach when conducting intake sessions to build rapport with clients.
• Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and crisis intervention as needed, equipping clients with the tools necessary to manage their mental health challenges.
• Identify clients requiring additional support, making appropriate referrals to inpatient care or specialized services outside of the Behavioral Lifebulb framework when necessary.
• Screen for potential substance use issues, providing necessary counseling or referring individuals to community resources for further assistance.

This position primarily caters to children, adolescents, and their families, who may face various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-informed concerns. The LCSW will employ diverse therapeutic techniques that resonate with this population, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive care.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling and Social Work from an accredited institution is required, along with a current LCSW license to practice.
• Exceptional clinical skills, with proven ability to apply therapeutic interventions effectively and with sensitivity.
• Exhibit mature judgment in crisis situations alongside robust crisis intervention capabilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly in the context of presenting information to diverse audiences, including administrative and clinical teams.
• Proficient in computer systems and patient record management, facilitating seamless digital documentation and communication.
• Experience working collaboratively within a culturally diverse team to promote inclusive and effective practice.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a similar role, particularly within a school-based or community mental health setting, is highly desirable.
• Experience implementing evidence-based therapy models such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care techniques.
• Knowledge of local community resources and behavioral health trends within Nevada.
