We are currently supporting a confidential search for an HR Director to join a well-established organization with a strong employee-focused culture and exciting growth plans.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR leader who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on. The ideal candidate brings deep manufacturing HR experience, a passion for leadership development, and a visible, service-oriented leadership style. This individual will play a key role in advancing organizational development initiatives, employee engagement, and leadership capability while building scalable HR processes that support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Lead the Human Resources function and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
  • Manage and develop an established HR team, including HR Generalists, an HR Coordinator, and future HR team growth.
  • Partner closely with leaders and supervisors to provide coaching, guidance, and practical HR solutions.
  • Maintain a highly visible presence building strong relationships with employees at every level.
  • Foster a positive, service-oriented culture that supports employee engagement and organizational success.

Organizational Development & Talent Strategy
  • Design and implement leadership development initiatives across all levels of the organization.
  • Build and expand Learning & Development programs that support employee growth and succession planning.
  • Lead performance management initiatives that improve accountability and leadership effectiveness.
  • Drive organizational development efforts that enhance culture, communication, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen change management initiatives as the organization continues to grow.

HR Operations & Process Improvement
  • Evaluate and improve HR processes, policies, and documentation to support operational excellence.
  • Develop HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting that provide meaningful workforce insights.
  • Optimize HRIS functionality while supporting future system transitions and implementations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve employee and manager experiences.
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment laws and organizational policies.

Systems & Technology
  • Serve as the HRIS leader for system optimization and future implementations.
  • Support future migration from Paylocity to ADP as part of broader organizational initiatives.
  • Improve HR reporting capabilities and leverage data to support business decisions.
  • Partner with IT and leadership on HR technology enhancements and process automation.

Employee Experience & Culture
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives that reinforce a collaborative workplace culture.
  • Develop programs that strengthen leadership effectiveness and employee retention.
  • Coach leaders through employee relations matters while promoting consistency and fairness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance communication and employee feedback.

Qualifications
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong HR leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success developing Leadership Development and Learning & Development programs.
  • Experience leading Organizational Development initiatives.
  • Strong background in employee engagement, culture building, and performance management.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Experience improving HR processes, policies, and organizational effectiveness.
  • HRIS implementation, optimization, or system migration experience.
  • Advanced ADP experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Paylocity.
  • Experience overseeing Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
  • Workers' Compensation experience.
  • HR analytics and workforce reporting expertise.
  • Experience supporting HRIS implementations or system conversions.
  • Experience within multi-company or growing organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
