Job description

Part-Time Student Support & Math Coach
Guardian Angels Catholic School
Guardian Angels Catholic School is seeking a caring, organized, and relationship-focused part-time team member to support students academically, socially, and behaviorally during the 2026-2027 school year.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with middle elementary and middle school students, building positive relationships, helping students navigate peer conflict, and providing math support and coaching throughout the school day. We are looking for someone who can help students grow not only academically, but also emotionally, socially, and spiritually as valued members of our school community.
Position Responsibilities
  • Provide small-group and individual math coaching/support for students
  • Help students strengthen executive functioning, organization, and study habits
  • Support students in navigating peer relationships and conflict resolution
  • Assist administration and teachers with student discipline and behavior support
  • Help students regulate emotions and make positive choices
  • Check in regularly with students who need additional support socially or academically
  • Communicate professionally with teachers, families, and administration
  • Maintain a calm, positive, and faith-filled presence throughout the school
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and positive relationships with students
  • Background in education, counseling, psychology, social work, tutoring, or youth ministry preferred
  • Comfortable supporting students in math intervention/coaching
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
