Part-Time Evening Ultrasound Instructor
  • Location: Gwinnett College Roswell Campus
  • Monday Thursday, 6:00 PM 10:0 PM
  • Gwinnett College is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Part-Time Evening Instructor for our Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sonographer who is passionate about teaching and helping students prepare for successful careers in the field.

    Our focus is simple: graduate students who are prepared, confident, and employable.

    Position Overview

    The Ultrasound Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both classroom and laboratory settings. This role includes teaching assigned courses, supporting student learning, and ensuring students develop the knowledge and skills required for entry-level employment in diagnostic medical sonography.

    Evening availability is required.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deliver engaging lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab instruction

    Teach ultrasound topics including:

    Ultrasound physics and instrumentation

    Abdominal imaging

    Obstetrics and gynecology

    Vascular and small parts imaging

    Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and lab assessments

    Provide academic support and tutoring to students as needed

    Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records

    Ensure course objectives and learning outcomes are met

    Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

    Foster a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment

    Qualifications

    Associate degree required; Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
