A Day in the Life:

  • Always maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all quality standards are met.
  • Learn and perform machine set-ups, changeovers, and other minor repairs/tasks.
  • Track quantity of product shirred for each order.
  • Ensure works stations are properly stocked with all necessary materials.
  • Use lifting equipment to place finished goods on skids.
  • Pack and label boxes a specified.

To thrive you MUST:

  • Have a positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Be diligent and take pride in your work.
  • Have basic math, reading, data entry and measurement skills.
  • Posses the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Prior Shirring Experience (preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 55 lbs. is required.
  • Ability to grasp bundles of product.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. *Job is primarily performed standing.
  • Lifting equipment is provided or loading and unloading rolls (average roll weight: Clip and Loop - 45lbs.; String Tie โ€“ 25lbs.).
