General Description
This position will perform routine duties of delivering, shipping and receiving of material in the Procurement Department. Duties include dealing with staff members and Campus Personnel in a courteous and tactful manner. This position is responsible for a high level of accuracy and works under supervision.
Examples of Work Performed
Processes requests for materials and supplies for campuses and departments.
Prepares materials for delivery to campuses and departments.
Delivers and maintains delivery documents from campuses/departments for inventory.
Ensures correct delivery of materials in quantities requested.
Will be expected, on occasion, to work hours in addition to the regular workday, and attend evening meetings, weekend training, and out-of-town conferences.
Must attend all training deemed necessary by the Executive Program Director to comply with the Child Care Regulation Division Minimum Standards and Performance Standards during the summer months.
Must adhere to and maintain the obligations as described in the confidentiality policies of the Agency.
Must comply with program policies and standard operating procedures.
Responsible for maintaining Administration and Central Warehouse in an orderly manner.
Responsible for carrying out the duties of the courier service weekly, to include local mail run.
Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Executive Director.
Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Must have the appropriate driving license for the job being filled.
Must have an automobile and current liability insurance for work related travel.
