Performance Auto Group is currently seeking a Casual Floater Front Desk Administrator to join our Niagara dealerships on a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for answering and routing telephone calls and greeting new arrivals upon arrival to the sales floor.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and succeed. As well, the candidate will not mind traveling throughout Niagara for receptionist shift coverage at our stores as required. As this position is on-call, Day and evening availability, along with weekends are also required.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

  • Answer and direct all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Strive to minimize the amount of time customers are placed on hold.
  • Greet showroom customers and assist with basic inquiries.
  • Communicate messages to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Update dealership schedule/directory on a regular basis.
  • Motor vehicle licensing administration.
  • Vehicle inventory administration.
  • Perform other related administrative tasks as required by management.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Must have Daytime/evening and weekend availability as this position is on-call.
  • May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.
  • A reliable motor vehicle is considered an asset.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience required.
  • Reception and/or Dealership experience is considered an asset.
  • Must be team oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to be trained on motor vehicle licensing.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personable, reliable, courteous.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Google Drive is an asset.

Job Type: Part-Time - 6 month contract
 
Compensation (expected hourly wage): $17.60 - $18.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
