Job description

Title of Position: Adjunct Architectural Studies Instructors
Bargaining Unit/Salary Range: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
SUMMARY
Central Maine Community College seeks Architects, structural engineers, civil engineers and mechanical/electrical engineers to teach Architectural Studies courses. The instructor will deliver curriculum through a learning management system. Courses may include both daytime and evening hours on our Auburn campus or online.
Courses include:
  • Architectural Design II
  • Sustainability
  • Building Systems
  • Structures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in related area.
  • Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • State of Maine Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • State of Maine Professional Architectural License
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
