Job description

Non-Alc Evangelist and Retail Lead

Location: The Yount Room, Yountville

Reports To: Station Manager


Position Overview

Our Non-Alc Evangelist and Retail Lead is a full-time role (Tuesday thru Saturday) that leads daily sales of our shared retail and non-alcoholic beverage space No & Co. A thoughtfully curated corner of The Yount Room, this space highlights non-alcoholic alternatives for everyone at the table, locally inspired goods, and lifestyle merchandise that reflect the culture and pace of life in our community. While this position’s primary focus (~60% of responsibilites) is the retail experience and supporting our non-alc business – including launching our own NA product – they will also flex into The Yount Room collective tasting space as needed (~40% of responsibilities), helping deliver seamless, guest-centered service across both environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Oversee opening and closing duties, inventory management, visual merchandising, POS accuracy, and an overall exceptional retail presentation.
  • Guest Experience: Welcome and engage guests with genuine enthusiasm, helping them discover new non-alcoholic offerings, local makers, and goods that express the Yountville lifestyle.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay current on featured or emerging non-alcoholic beverages, local artisan products, and retail trends to guide guests authentically.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Station Manager, tasting room team, and collective brand partners to ensure operational harmony between the retail space and tasting salon.
  • Business Development: Working alongside the Director and Station Manager, find and execute on networking opportunities, promotional events and local pourings to bring our Non-Alc mission to the people including being a key figure in launching our own NA product.
  • Sales & Reporting: Track daily sales, manage restocks, and support monthly reporting to ensure both profitability and brand consistency.
  • Flex Support: Assist the tasting room team during peak periods, events, and activations thus ensuring a unified guest experience.
  • Training & Standards: Help onboard seasonal or part-time team members to maintain service consistency and uphold The Yount Room’s values.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail, hospitality, or tasting room experience (wine or beverage background a plus).
  • Passion or interest in the emerging non-alcoholic alternative market.
  • Warm, confident, curious and able to connect with guests across interests and lifestyles.
  • Strong sense of visual detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • POS and basic reporting proficiency (Shopify, Google Workspace, MS Office Suite a plus).


Compensation

  • $21-$23 per hour, full-time
  • + 4% commission
