European Diagnostic Technician (A-Level)

8+ Years of Professional Euro Experience Required

Overview

A long-standing, family-operated automotive service group with multiple locations across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is seeking an experienced European Diagnostic Technician. The team maintains a tradition of honest service and high-quality repairs, serving both domestic and import vehicles with a strong emphasis on European brands.

Role Summary

The European Diagnostic Technician will lead complex drivability and electrical diagnostics, perform high-quality repairs, and contribute to a collaborative team that includes A-, B-, and C-level technicians. This role emphasizes European platforms (e.g., Porsche, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi) while supporting all makes and models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical, drivability, and module/network issues—especially on European vehicles.

  • Perform maintenance and repairs including brakes, timing systems, suspension, and general mechanical work.

  • Document findings and repairs using digital vehicle inspection (DVI) workflows.

  • Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure accurate estimates and on-time delivery.

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and uphold quality standards.

  • Participate in ongoing training and certification.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional automotive experience with strong European diagnostic capability.

  • Proven ability to “flag” hours efficiently while maintaining quality.

  • Advanced use of scan tools and service information systems.

  • ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Work Schedule

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (no weekends)

Compensation

  • Flat-rate pay with guarantee: $35–$45 per hour (30-hour weekly guarantee) - Depending on Experience

  • Pay commensurate with experience, certifications, and productivity.
