We’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to win and expand Enterprise accounts across the US. Flinn already has strong product-market fit and paying customers in Europe - the US is a green field. As our first US-based Account Executive, you'll adapt a proven European playbook to the US regulatory and buying landscape, build a pipeline from scratch, and close Flinn's first US customers, working closely with the founding team.

You'll be based in our Vienna office and work EST hours to be fully aligned with your prospects and customers. After approximately one year, there is a prospect to relocate to New York as the US business scales.

• Build and work a target account list of US‑based MedTech and Pharma manufacturers.

• Own the full sales cycle end‑to‑end: outbound prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close.

• Build relationships with Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, and Compliance leaders, from Director up to VP/C‑level.

• Adapt Flinn's European sales playbook and messaging to US buyers and the US regulatory context.

• Represent Flinn at US industry conferences and events.

• Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and forecasting.

• Feed market and competitive intelligence back to Product and Marketing to help shape US go‑to‑market strategy.

Must‑Have

• 3-6 years of full‑cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota.

• Comfortable self‑sourcing pipeline in an early‑stage, low/no‑inbound environment (with support from 2 founding BDRs).

• Experience working with the US market and building relationships

• Experience selling to VP/C‑level buyers and managing multi‑stakeholder deals (Regulatory, Quality, IT, Procurement).

• Based in or willing to relocate to Vienna, with the flexibility to work US hours (afternoon into evening CET) to match the US market.

• Willingness to relocate to New York after approximately one year, pending business needs and visa/work authorization.

• Comfortable with periodic travel to the US for customer meetings, and events

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience selling into regulated, compliance‑heavy, or highly technical industries: MedTech, pharma, life sciences, healthcare, or adjacent regulated software, big plus.

• An existing network of contacts in Regulatory Affairs, Quality, or Compliance roles at MedTech or Pharma companies.

• Experience as an early or founding sales hire, building a new territory or market from scratch.

• Experience selling alongside a Sales Engineer or running technical, multi‑stakeholder evaluations.

• Some comfort going deeper into product/technical detail during a sales cycle — this is closer to consultative selling than a pure relationship‑and‑logo motion.

• Entrepreneurial - genuinely energized by an open market with no playbook yet, not just tolerant of ambiguity.

• A self‑motivated hunter who creates pipeline rather than waiting for it.

• A clear, direct communicator, comfortable working in daily contact with founders.

• Detail‑oriented, organized, and disciplined about follow‑through.

• Driven by building and impact, not primarily by commission size or by wanting to move into sales management.

This role is NOT for you if:

• You want a comfortable rhythm and a 9‑to‑5.

• You need a fully built playbook before you can move.

• You measure success by effort, not outcomes.

• You're looking for a stepping stone into sales leadership rather than a hands‑on builder role.
