Job description

Company Description
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, SOSi is a private defense and government solutions business specializing in advanced technology systems and mission support. Its capabilities include data science, software development, network engineering, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and logistics.
Job Description
SOSi is seeking a Director of Delivery to scale and standardize how programs are executed and to build the agentic AI-powered delivery engine that makes that possible.
This role sits at the intersection of CTO-led technology development, business development, the Business Units, and the Quality function. The mission is to align what we build, what we solve, and accelerate our delivery to mission as the company grows.
The Director of Delivery will be a hands-on practitioner of agentic AI. Supported by the Director of Applied AI, this role includes designing and operating the workflows, automation, and tooling that make delivery repeatable and scalable, and helping customers extract value from the same technology on their programs. This role has the authority to set delivery standards, restructure the team, and implement changes across the portfolio.
What You'll Own
The delivery model is the primary mission. Agentic AI is how you build and operate it.
Essential Job Duties
Agentic AI Delivery Operations
  • Design and operate agentic workflows across the delivery lifecycle: proposal and solutioning automation, program health monitoring, artifact generation, customer reporting, and QA on AI-enabled programs.
  • Build AI-driven portfolio visibility that gives leadership real signal on status, risk, and performance.
  • Deploy agentic AI capabilities to customers on programs where it is part of the technical approach, from scoping and integration through acceptance and sustainment.
  • Translate agentic AI delivery risk and capability into terms that program managers, contracting officers, and mission stakeholders can act on.
  • Define tooling requirements for the delivery function and work with the CTO to evaluate and approve the stack.
  • Evolve the delivery model as the technology changes.

Delivery Model and Pre-Award to Execution
  • Build and own the delivery playbook. Set quality expectations across deliverables and customer-facing work products.
  • Partner with the Quality function to ensure standards are practical and consistently applied.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are executable. Staffing assumptions, architecture, and timelines should reflect how SOSi actually delivers.
  • Own the methodology for how the business analysts and solution architects contribute to solution delivery
  • Feed delivery insights back into future solutioning at the portfolio level.

Team and Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Lead and scale a team of business analysts and solution architects. Full authority to restructure, hire, and build the team you need.
  • Define roles, expectations, and career paths. Develop team fluency in agentic AI tooling as a core competency.
  • Work across CTO, Business Development, Business Units, and Quality to keep technical direction, deal strategy, and execution aligned.
  • Support Business Units in delivery without duplicating program management responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, solution architecture leadership, program management, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated mastery of technology delivery, program management, or solutions architecture in federal or defense environments, with clear progression into leadership.
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating agentic AI systems: prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, and workflow automation.
  • Experience building delivery models, playbooks, or operating frameworks, not just executing within them.
  • Direct accountability for pre-award to post-award transition. You have seen where it breaks and fixed it.
  • Experience in deploying solutions in highly regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work across technical, business development, and program teams and translate between them.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active in scope TS/SCI with FS Poly.
  • Experience deploying agentic AI to government customers, including acceptance criteria and ATO considerations for AI-enabled systems.
  • Background at a defense technology company or high-growth integrator where you built something rather than inherited it.
  • COCOM experience: INDOPACOM, SOCOM, EUCOM, or equivalent.
  • Experience standing up a delivery, solutions, or customer success function from scratch.
  • Successful rapid deployment of capabilities under Software Pathway or Other Transition Agreements (OTAs).

Additional Information
Work Environment
  • Standard office environment with a hybrid schedule (two days on-site and three days optional remote).
  • Travel required for program support, customer engagement, and SOSi operating locations including INDOPACOM and EUCOM areas of operation.

Additional Information
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
