Job Description:

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a Security Specialist - EUCOM Partner and FMS Support to join the F-35 program at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) leads life-cycle management of the F-35 Lightning II, the fifth-generation joint strike fighter serving the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, Cooperative Program Partners (CPP), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers across multiple classification levels.

Support includesControlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Special Access Programs (SAP), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). The F-35 JPO Security Directorate provides full-spectrum, multi-disciplined security support to protect F-35 technology and information across the enterprise and throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle, spanningContinental United States (CONUS) and overseasoperationsglobally.

The role of the Security Specialist - EUCOM Partner and FMS Support (Senior) is to provide senior-level security coordination support for F-35 Partner nation and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer securityoperationswithin the United States European Command (EUCOM) Area of Responsibility,operating from Ramstein Air Base, Germany under theU.S.-German Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), in direct support of EUCOM Partner and FMS program security management activities:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to F-35 Partner nation and FMS customer security professionals in the EUCOM AOR for program-specific security documentation, Program Security Instruction (PSI) packages, and Access ManagementControl Plan (AMCP) submissions
  • Coordinate Partner and FMS security documentation packages and route them throughappropriate F-35JPO Security Directorate review and approval channels
  • Support Staff Assistance Visit (SAV) preparation,logisticscoordination, and post-SAV reporting for EUCOM Partner nation locations
  • Monitor Partner nation and FMS customer security posture in the EUCOM AOR; provide status updates to the International Security Specialist and International Security Manager
  • Provide security awareness coordination and event support to European Partner nation security professionals
  • Support air show, fighter competition, and collaborative security event coordination in the EUCOM theater as directed
  • Maintainadministrative records related to EUCOM Partner and FMS security program activities and coordinate with JPO headquarters elements asrequired

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree, OR Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years ofadditionalwork experience in international security, security coordination, or securityassistanceprogram support
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience providing security coordination oroperational support for DoD Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or security cooperation programs
  • Demonstrated familiarity with U.S. Government FMS security processes, Partner nation security documentation requirements, and international security cooperation frameworks
  • Experience supporting overseas U.S. military or government installations, preferably in the EUCOM Area of Responsibility
  • SOFA eligibilityrequiredfor permanent assignment at Ramstein Air Base, Germany; candidates must meet United States European Command (EUCOM) AOR assignment requirements anddemonstratesuitability for long-term OCONUS duty at a NATO installation
  • Secret/SAR clearancerequired

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
