Position Summary

QBE is seeking a motivated, career-driven, and customer-oriented Video Teleconferencing Technician to support video teleconferencing operations, customer support, conference scheduling, system troubleshooting, and VTC installation activities in Doral, FL.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier I and Tier II customer support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
  • Schedule conferences using Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS).
  • Respond to system outages and take appropriate action to alt-route services or use available failover and backup capabilities to meet VTC client requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys remotely and on-site to determine specific requirements for new VTC system installations or upgrades.
  • Conduct on-site VTC installations, including assisting with end network device configurations, equipment installations, equipment configuration, and system checkout.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working or practical knowledge and understanding of IP networks and how they are implemented as part of, or in support of, VTC systems.
  • Experience providing Tier I and Tier II customer support for VTC systems.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working within a DoD Combatant Command, including but not limited to SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, or SPACECOM, or a Service Component.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with coworkers, management, and customers, including during presentations or meetings.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
