Job Summary:
Envista Holdings Corporation is a global leader in the dental industry, and they are seeking a highly skilled Lead End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join their Global IT support organization. This role will be responsible for delivering and enhancing the digital workplace experience across the enterprise, focusing on endpoint management, automation, and collaboration with various teams to improve employee technology experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the engineering, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise endpoint management platforms
• Design, maintain, and optimize Windows device imaging and provisioning processes
• Manage enterprise laptop and workstation patching strategies to ensure compliance, stability, and security
• Support modern endpoint management initiatives leveraging Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologies
• Develop and maintain hardware and software standards across the organization
• Oversee endpoint lifecycle management, including provisioning, deployment, refresh, and retirement processes
• Create, test, deploy, and maintain software packages using SCCM/MECM and Intune
• Manage enterprise software deployment strategies and application lifecycle processes
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and optimize deployment automation and reporting
• Ensure application compatibility and alignment with enterprise standards
• Enhance the overall digital workplace experience through proactive engineering, automation, and service optimization
• Partner with IT Service Management (ITSM), Service Desk, and Field Services teams to improve employee satisfaction and service delivery outcomes
• Develop scalable solutions that improve usability, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and related scripting technologies
• Automate operational tasks, deployments, provisioning workflows, reporting, and remediation activities
• Drive operational efficiency through automation and process standardization initiatives
• Support and administer Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)/Azure VDI environments
• Optimize virtual desktop performance, scalability, availability, and user experience
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to support hybrid workplace initiatives
• Administer and support remote support and privileged access tools including Bomgar and BeyondTrust
• Ensure endpoint security standards and governance requirements are maintained
• Partner closely with cybersecurity teams to support compliance and endpoint protection initiatives
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering standards, operational procedures, and runbooks
• Create knowledge articles and operational documentation to support consistent service delivery
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational governance activities
• Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure operational alignment, accountability, and service excellence
• Provide technical leadership and governance oversight for outsourced EUC support functions
• Drive adherence to enterprise standards, SLAs, KPIs, and operational best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related
• 6-10+ years of experience in End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or Workplace Technology roles in a global environment
• Strong understanding of modern workplace technologies and endpoint security best practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale global environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across endpoint and virtual desktop platforms
