Job Description
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, ETRM Solution Architect to strengthen the translation and construction of our clients' business problems into creative technology solutions during this exciting time of growth for the energy and commodities sector. You'll have the power to empower both clients and team members, providing technical direction to project teams and developing software design and implementations. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.
Location- Houston or Juno Beach, FL- minimum 3 days onsite at either of these location
Your Impact
• Engage with Business and IT stakeholders and implement client's business requirements on ETRM products and/or bespoke systems
• Provide functional and technical leadership for ETRM software implementations centered on products, specifically ION RightAngle, Allegro or Endur
• Lead requirements analysis, functional design, solution architecture, technical design, and implementation for ETRM products and their integrations with other related systems
• Perform technology assessments, cost/benefit analysis, project estimations, and planning
• Implement technology solutions with modern engineering practices using Cloud services, DevOps, CI/CD, automated unit testing, and functional testing frameworks
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of one or more ETRM products to cultivate people- growth and knowledge-management
• Provide direction and technical direction to aproject team of 25+ people
Your Skills and Experience
• Extensive experience (14+ years) on ETRM engagements, providing technical guidance for medium to large scale ETRM project implementations from design inception to delivery using agile methodologies
• Excellent understanding of the energy/commodity industry and business understanding of trade lifecycle of different asset classes such as crude, refined products, natural gas, NGLs, power, and data flow from front to back office
• Deep understanding of ETRM product core system architecture, APIs, data model, systems processes, and customizations
• Experience with integration of ETRM products with other company systems such as e- confirm, ICE/CME Exchanges, SAP, Oracle, Shipnet, Veson, etc.
• Experience in providing technical direction on data migrations work from legacy ETRM systems to new systems using data integration platforms (e.g., Azure data factory, SSIS, Datastage, Informatica, etc.)
Set Yourself Apart With
• Experience with CI/CD instruments for build and release processes (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform for infrastructure as code, etc.)
• Experience in developing PaaS applications on Cloud using serverless components, messaging services, integration components, databases, etc.
• Experience with functional testing automation frameworks for ETRM products
• Advanced certifications on Cloud computing platforms
• Experience with ETRM Product upgrades
