JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Gas Supply Analyst supports Delta Utilities’ short-term procurement, contract administration, and regulatory documentation functions. This entry-level role focuses on learning industry fundamentals, internal systems, and compliance requirements to ensure the delivery of economic, prudent, and reliable gas supply for customers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with daily gas supply activities, including monitoring pipeline electronic bulletin boards and internal ETRM reports
- Support contract administration tasks such as document retention and preparing agreements for execution
- Compile and organize gas cost data for regulatory filings
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure compliance with reporting guidelines and deadlines
- Develop foundational knowledge of company-owned assets and pipeline operations
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, engineering, finance, marketing, mathematics, or related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Minimum experience required of the position
- Assist with daily gas supply activities, including monitoring pipeline electronic bulletin boards and internal ETRM reports
- Support contract administration tasks such as document retention and preparing agreements for execution
