Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Engineer, you will:

  • Interpret project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy in the construction process.
  • Assist with reviewing and managing project submittals.
  • Generate purchase orders and track material deliveries.
  • Support project scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
  • Prepare and organize daily field reports for review by project leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and client requirements.
  • Provide general support to Project Managers and Superintendents as needed

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship (required) – candidates must be U.S. Citizens to meet federal project requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required) or Construction Management (preferred alternative).
  • 1+ years of experience in heavy civil construction preferred, though entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to pass State & Federal background checks to access military bases and Federal facilities.
