What is an estimator assistant project manager?

Estimator Assistant Project Managers are professionals who support both the estimating and project management functions within construction or engineering firms. They assist with preparing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and helping manage project schedules and budgets. Their role is vital in ensuring projects are accurately estimated and efficiently managed from inception to completion. This position often serves as a stepping stone to more advanced roles in project management or estimating.

Strong communication and organization skills are essential, as this role often acts as a bridge between estimating and project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to execution.
