How you will contribute to our TEAM:

Business Development/Sales

  • Responsible for maintaining business contacts and/or sourcing new business for purposes of generating new work
  • Achieve sales goals, negotiate contracts, and convert opportunities
  • Determine the best way to meet the needs of the client and/or the adjuster
  • Use creative problem solving to win solid opportunities and bids in a competitive bidding environment
  • Negotiate pricing and scope with clients, adjusters, and/or consultants to sell proposals at company approved job margins
  • Collaborate with internal partners to build relationships, generate opportunities and close sales (e.g. Account Executives, National Account Managers, etc.)
  • Establish payment terms, including progress billings and deductible payments
  • Document Business Development/Sales activity in the company CRM

Estimating

  • Perform project site inspection to determine correct scope of work in order to prepare estimates for clients and/or adjusters
  • Generate estimates and proposals that ensure the scope is clearly documented and understood by the customer
  • Collaborate with estimators on large, technical and/or complex estimates and proposals
  • Write estimates within CAMP guidelines and ensure that a contract is signed
  • Produce accurate estimates in a timely manner per customer and internal expectations

Project Management

  • Prepare scopes of work, estimates, ensure executed contracts, initiate operations/production, file management, remain point of contact and collect invoiced amounts
  • Determine necessary steps to begin the production of the job while project management and additional resources are being deployed
  • Conduct thorough inspections of jobs and recommends further work to adjusters or clients
  • Document all changes in scope in a timely manner
  • Complete change orders and communicate them to key stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Ensure jobs are properly documented in the Job Management software and other internal software as needed
  • Assume overall responsibility for project financials which include but are not limited to: pricing, costs, margins, and invoicing
  • Must communicate with the superintendents to ensure each project is functioning as planned and that the service quality is at the company's highest standard
  • Assume overall responsibility for collecting all project outstanding account receivable (A/R) payments - whether directly or indirectly through internal partnerships

Customer Service

  • Maintain frequent and timely communicate with internal and external customers such as clients, adjusters, co-workers, and contractors
  • Resolve conflicts, warranty issues and other complaints as needed
  • Ensure daily/weekly customer updates are submitted as required

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, & Experience

  • Required experience: 5 years restoration/construction experience
  • Must have 3+years of experience as an Estimator or Project Manager
  • Preferred: 2+years of experience as a Project Director
  • Experience in negotiating and managing a sale process
  • Experience in marketing services for purpose of generating new or existing business
  • Experience effectively communicating across different levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of and experience in cost containment and risk management
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and Xactimate (and other estimating software) proficiency required
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge in construction estimating
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to make sound decisions that positively affect project and profit outcomes
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
  • Must be able to work on-site at an office or jobsite as needed
  • Must be able to travel throughout assigned region
