What Youโ€™ll Do

As our Estates & Trusts Tax Manager (LLM), youโ€™ll work alongside attorneys, CPAs, and wealth advisors to deliver integrated, client-centered solutions. Youโ€™ll lead trust and estate planning engagements, offer proactive tax guidance, and mentor up-and-coming team members in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead estate and trust tax engagements, including planning, compliance, and fiduciary oversight

Prepare and review federal and state estate, gift, and trust tax returns

Serve as a technical expert and advisor to clients on complex trust structures and tax implications

Conduct advanced legal and tax research and translate it into actionable strategies

Collaborate with attorneys, accountants, and wealth professionals across the firm

Monitor and manage WIP, ERTC/EROS, aged receivables, and billing processes

Mentor staff and help build the next generation of technical talent at Keystone

Contribute to process improvements and help shape best practices across the estate and trust practice

Qualifications

Required:

Juris Doctor (JD) and LL.M. in Taxation

Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate and trust tax planning and compliance

Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and ProSystem fx Engagement

Strong communication skillsโ€”you know how to make complex things clear

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities

Bar licensure in at least one U.S. state

Preferred:

CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification

Prior experience in a public accounting or professional services firm

Knowledge of advanced planning techniques (e.g., GRATs, IDGTs, charitable trusts, etc.)

A passion for team leadership and mentorship
