Job Summary
The Student Attendant supports the Cornerstone facility, UKFCU Esports Lounge, and other Smart Campus programs (e.g., UK iPad Kit, Digital Signage). This entry-level role ensures a welcoming, safe environment; assists with events; and maintains facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations: Greet and assist visitors; provide tours and front-desk support; address questions and ensure guest safety.
Facility Maintenance: Keep key areas clean, organized, and secure; report maintenance needs; safeguard equipment.
Program & Event Support: Help plan, market, and run events; collaborate with leadership to enhance engagement; gather feedback.
Technical Proficiency: Provide basic tech support for esports and Smart Campus equipment; learn streaming and production tools.
General Duties: Ensure safety, follow cash-handling procedures, and contribute ideas to grow a healthy community through each of our endeavors.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The individual should have excellent communication, organization, and research skills with the ability to follow department procedures/policies and to work independently. It is expected that the Smart Campus Attendant will maintain a regular work schedule.

• Current University of Kentucky student in good academic standing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
