TRUST OFFICER II CUSTODY
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This position is responsible for the administration of custody, business escrow, agency and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's) where CNB is acting as Trustee. Achieves compliance with Bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements. Interfaces with colleagues, clients and outside investment management firms regarding accounts..
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Administer Custody, Business Escrow, agency and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's) where CNB is acting as Trustee for account opening, periodic account administrative reviews, cash transfers, wire transfers, asset transfers, asset valuations and the reviews.
  • Administer a book of Account relationships. Work with assigned clients and/or their relationships contact to administer the investment accounts to ensure adherence to Bank policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, overall profitability, and retention of the accounts assigned.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize requests to ensure a high quality service experience is provided to clients.
  • Assist with regulatory examinations, independent audits, internal audit compliance reviews and work with the Retirement Services Manager to implement action plans to correct deficiencies and update policies and procedures where needed.
  • Maintains a proactive commitment to established Bank programs.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Five years of experience in the administration and custodial accounts.
  • Five years of experience in a client facing role in a financial institution.
  • Five years of experience in working with ERISA Qualified Plans under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
Additional Qualifications
  • Five to seven years of experience in the administration of defined contribution, defined benefit and other employee benefit trust, agency and custodial accounts.
  • Five years of experience in a client facing role in banking or financial services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related area preferred
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with SEI’s Trust 3000 Trust Accounting system
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills sufficient to interact with all levels of Bank personnel and clients.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the fiduciary and prohibited transaction provisions associated with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

Starting base salary: $71,869 - $114,797 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
