Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)

YSI is seeking a Senior SailPoint SME to serve as the senior technical authority SailPoint environment, with responsibility for SailPoint architecture, code oversight, workflows, connectors, operational performance, technical recommendations, leadership of Junior SailPoint SMEs, and support for escalated DevOps/helpdesk issues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and architect the overall client SailPoint system; ensure the SailPoint database is backed up, and the architecture is efficient and performant
  • Own code changes and ensure independent validation and code review before incorporation
  • Provide design oversight for internal and external account-management workflows
  • Oversee SailPoint daily processes and connectors
  • Ensure synchronization and data-correlation issues are quickly addressed and resolved
  • Provide recommendations to Government PMs on architecture and design strategy and on the efficacy of new SailPoint feature releases
  • Lead the SailPoint Junior SMEs supporting the DevOps team
  • Guide Junior engineers; and assist with helpdesk tickets escalated to DevOps engineers by the Helpdesk Support team.
  • Provide analysis of organizational processes and areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with top management
  • Develop project plans and inform changes to project management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree. Education substitution: Associate s degree with 12 years of experience, or High School diploma/GED with 15 years of experience.
  • At least six (6) years developing code for and maintaining on-premises SailPoint installations.
  • Experience providing technical support, gathering information, analyzing areas for process improvement, collaborating with management, developing project plans, and informing project-management changes.
