Job description

Sr .NET Developer (Integration, API, ESB, C#, Azure) (Hybrid, Santa Clara, CA) 

We are looking for a .NET Developer, an Integration Expert for our client, a County in the State of California. The focus of this role is to design, create, and test all interfaces and data exchanges required for two criminal justice projects that include implementing a new jail management system and modernizing the remaining components in the legacy Criminal Justice Information Control system that will work with new jail management system. 

This contract position is long-term with funding approved every 12 months (extensions likely), 40 hours per week. This is a hybrid role that requires at least 2-3 days of onsite work supporting our client’s offices in Santa Clara, CA. The preferred candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay area, within a commutable distance of the offices in Santa Clara, CA.  

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Designing, creating, and testing all interfaces and data exchanges required for two projects. 

  • Responsible for working with API management toolset. 

  • Integrating with Microsoft SQL Server and coding stored procedures 

  • Analyze complex integration issues and provide effective solutions.  

  • Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve integration-related issues promptly. 

  • Translate technical jargon into layman's terms for non-technical stakeholders. 

Requirements:  

  • 5+ years of experience in developing APIs and with integration technologies such as API, ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), middleware, and other relevant tools. 

  • 5+ years of experience in developing programs in C#, Microsoft .NET, and Visual Studio  

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing restful and soap-based messaging  

  • 5+ years of experience with various data formats and protocols like XML, XSD, XSLT documents JSON, SOAP, REST, etc. 

  • 5+ years of experience in data handling in implementing database applications using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL Server, Stored procedures, etc. 

  • 3+ years of experience working with API management solutions, such as Azure API Management solutions, MuleSoft API Manager, and Software AG API Gateway. 

  • 2+ years of experience in working with TLS certificates. 

  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and services, like Azure Integration Services, AWS Lambda, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub. 

  • Experience with data security principles and implementing secure integration practices. 

  • Experience with government domain processes and information preferred.
