Position Overview
The Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) is seeking a Senior Fuse Developer with a strong Java background to support enterprise ESB system planning, design, and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP services, microservices, and JBoss Fuse environments.
Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of Java Development experience using Java 8+ / JDK 17+
• Strong Object-Oriented Design and Programming expertise
• Extensive Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) experience
• Strong proficiency with SOAP and RESTful APIs
• Experience with API development including:
o API Gateways
o Microservices
o Pub/Sub
o Event-Driven Architectures
• Strong SQL development skills
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework:
o Spring Boot
o Dependency Injection
o IOC
o SOLID principles
• Experience gathering business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders
