Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Application Developer II with extensive experience developing, customizing, and integrating enterprise ERP systems. The ideal candidate combines strong software development skills with deep functional knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse management, finance, planning, and order management business processes.

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom enterprise applications, ERP enhancements, integrations, APIs, and automation solutions across IFS Cloud, Novacura, Microsoft Power Platform, and related business systems. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering ERP customizations, building scalable integrations, improving business processes, and partnering with business users to solve complex operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development (Core Focus)

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom enterprise applications supporting ERP business processes.
  • Develop and enhance IFS Cloud customizations using PL/SQL including:
    • Custom Events
    • Projections
    • Logical Units (LUs)
    • Custom Fields
    • Database Packages
    • Stored Procedures
  • Develop ERP customizations that improve manufacturing, inventory, warehouse management, finance, procurement, planning, and order management processes.
  • Build scalable business logic that extends ERP functionality while maintaining upgrade compatibility.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom enterprise applications supporting business operations.

ERP Development & Business Process Automation

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.
  • Customize ERP workflows, transactions, reports, dashboards, and automation processes.
  • Design solutions that improve operational efficiency across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Partner with Business Analysts and functional users to optimize ERP business processes.
  • Support ERP implementations, upgrades, patches, and new functionality deployments.
  • Troubleshoot complex ERP application issues and provide long-term technical solutions.

Integration & API Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between:
    • IFS Cloud
    • Novacura
    • Microsoft Power Platform
    • Azure Services
    • Third-party ERP and business applications
  • Develop RESTful APIs and web services supporting enterprise integrations.
  • Build middleware components that synchronize data between enterprise systems.
  • Implement secure authentication using OAuth2, SSO, SAML, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Optimize API performance and ensure reliable enterprise data exchange.

UI/UX & Enterprise Application Development

  • Design modern user interfaces that simplify ERP business processes.
  • Develop responsive enterprise applications using current web technologies.
  • Improve user adoption through intuitive workflows and mobile-friendly design.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions with exceptional user experience.

Internal Support

  • Provide advanced technical support for enterprise ERP systems.
  • Support manufacturing, finance, warehouse, procurement, and supply chain users.
  • Maintain technical documentation for ERP customizations and integrations.
  • Mentor junior developers and Business Analysts on ERP development best practices.
