Job description

Overview

Work Order Management

  • Print, assemble, and distribute production work orders.
  • Ensure work order packages are complete and accurate before release to production.

Planning Administration

  • Create, maintain, and manage administrative planner codes.
  • Create, release, and maintain TO (Transfer Order) work orders as required.
  • Process planning transactions and updates within ERP/MRP systems as required.
  • Ensure planning data integrity and accuracy.
  • Support planners with system updates and administrative maintenance tasks.

Revision Change Management

  • Manage and coordinate changes via tasks.
  • Communicate Planning Dept. revision status updates to appropriate departments.
  • Follow up on open revision activities to ensure timely implementation.

Reporting and Metrics

  • Prepare and submit the weekly Complete/No Charge Report.
  • Maintain department reports and performance metrics as required.
  • Update and maintain departmental tracking tools, including the planning matrix.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Production Planning team.
  • Assist with scheduling, communication, and coordination activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the planning department.
  • Cross-train with other planning support functions as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or administrative support preferred.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
