Project Manager Responsibilities


  • Ensure the successful completion of projects, employing best efforts and practices.
  • Serve as Project Manager and Consultant, overseeing project planning and execution.
  • Manage and maintain assignments for projects and tasks, coordinating with the Project Management Office and Scheduler to determine required resources and timelines.
  • Uphold project delivery goals and objectives for all engagements.
  • Develop project plans to deliver effective business and technology solutions for clients.
  • Resolve team issues and document resolutions accordingly.
  • Allocate and schedule resources, resolving any conflicts that arise.
  • Manage and perform ERP assessments and configurations as required by SafePaaS clients.
  • Analyze user roles and responsibilities by reviewing security configurations and profile options using SafePaaS ERP risk assessment tools.
  • Lead meetings with clients' ERP administrators and business users to identify risks related to security, segregation of duty, and data privacy.
  • Utilize SafePaaS Access Risk Remediation tools and Oracle GRC controls to mitigate risks in Oracle ERP setups.
  • Analyze key Oracle ERP configurations across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments.
  • Advise IT and audit teams on configuration control options by demonstrating a deep understanding of Oracle ERP controls and best practices.
  • Recommend corrective actions to resolve configuration issues.
  • Establish control rules to detect transactions outside acceptable risk thresholds.
  • Design ERP data and form-level controls to prevent transaction errors and mitigate fraud risks.
  • Execute project tasks as outlined in project plans.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective interaction.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in relevant industry and functional areas.
  • Assume responsibility for client engagements, adjusting responsibilities according to project requirements.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer processes to both clients and internal teams.
  • Contribute to project planning and ensure deliverables meet contractual obligations.
  • Undertake all necessary administrative tasks to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Set clear expectations for project teams to ensure focus on objectives.
  • Plan, define, and verify project scope, ensuring all deliverables are attainable, including updates to the SafePaaS Knowledge Bank.
  • Secure client sign-off at key project milestones and upon project completion.
  • Participate in meetings to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Conduct project kickoff and status review meetings with clients.
  • Foster and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Confirm project estimates and incorporate timeframes into plans.
  • Collaborate with the Client Development Manager to assess and address client satisfaction during and after service delivery.
  • Inform clients about new, relevant technologies and applications.
  • Support pre-sales activities as part of efforts to close new business.
  • Approve and submit subcontractor invoices when necessary.
  • Track and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Identify and report on resource conflicts impacting projects.
  • Recommend process improvements for enhanced delivery efficiency.
  • Complete and approve timesheets online by the specified deadline (before noon on the third workday of the week).


Qualifications


  • Significant technical project management experience with major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Minimum of 8 years industry experience in relevant fields.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full enterprise implementation projects for mid-market to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • Masters degree in Business Management (MBA) is desired.
