Product Supply Commercialization connects commercial deployment with operational execution by ensuring new products, sourcing initiatives, manufacturing changes, and strategic programs are successfully implemented across the enterprise.

Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Product Supply Commercialization provides enterprise Supply Chain leadership for commercialization initiatives from concept through post-launch stabilization. The role partners across Commercial, Innovation, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Botanical Supply Assurance, Distribution, Customer Service, Finance, and external partners to align business objectives with operational capability. Success is measured through disciplined execution, operational readiness, effective governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities: Commercialization Leadership
  • Lead Product Supply commercialization strategy and execution for new products, packaging innovations, product and packaging changes, sourcing initiatives, manufacturing transfers, and strategic business initiatives, ensuring successful operational implementation across the enterprise.
  • Lead Product Supply activities supporting the transition from Innovation to Operations by coordinating cross-functional execution, operational readiness, and implementation planning for approved commercialization initiatives.
  • Participate as the Supply Chain leader within the company's stage-gate governance process, providing operational readiness assessments, supply chain risk evaluations, and implementation recommendations for executive decision-making.
  • Lead Supply Chain execution of approved product discontinuations by developing inventory depletion strategies, coordinating production run-out plans while minimizing write-offs.
  • Represent Supply Chain within commercialization governance and influence enterprise decisions balancing quality, service, cost, compliance, and operational capability.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and drive alignment, accountability, and execution.
Planning & Operational Readiness
  • Own integrated commercialization plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate planning, sourcing, packaging material readiness, artwork implementation, production, engineering, quality, inventory, distribution, customer service, and external supplier activities to ensure commercialization readiness.
  • Monitor execution across multiple initiatives and resolve supply chain schedule, capacity, and resource constraints.
  • Lead launch and post-launch stabilization with minimal operational disruption.
  • Capture lessons learned to improve future commercialization performance.
Operational Risk Management & Execution
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and supply chain risks.
  • Evaluate feasibility, implementation complexity, and business impact.
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution and escalation.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations supporting executive decisions.
  • Ensure successful transition into routine operations.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Standardize supply chain commercialization governance, processes, and best practices.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to improve visibility and execution.
  • Simplify processes while maintaining compliance and quality.
  • Support ERP, PLM, APS, packaging data, and digital capabilities that strengthen Product Supply commercialization.
  • Benchmark and implement best practices.
Leadership & Organizational Influence
  • Lead through influence, collaboration, and operational expertise.
  • Coach and develop team members while promoting accountability.
  • Build trusted relationships across the enterprise.
  • Align commercialization priorities with Supply Chain strategy.
  • Represent Supply Chain as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, dependencies, and resource needs to leadership.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Commercialization, or Program Management.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional commercialization initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated Supply Chain functions, ERP/PLM/APS systems, and project leadership.
  • Preferred: MBA, advanced degree, Lean/Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or PMP certification.
