Job description

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Systems Analyst (ERP). The position will be based at our facility in El Paso, Texas.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The ERP Key User serves as the primary functional expert and business representative for the ERP system within the Supply Chain organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of ERP processes that support planning, procurement, inventory management, production, logistics and customer fulfillment. Acting as the bridge between business users and IT, the ERP Key User drives system adoption, supports ERP enhancements, leads user training, resolves functional issues and ensures standardized processes across the organization. The role plays a critical part in digital transformation initiatives by improving data accuracy, operational efficiency, and end-to-end process performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary functional expert for ERP-related processes within Supply Chain and Operations.
  • Support daily ERP activities by troubleshooting functional issues and coordinating resolution with IT or external system support teams.
  • Ensure ERP master data accuracy, including items, BOMs, routings, suppliers, customers, inventory parameters, planning settings, and other operational data.
  • Lead testing, validation, and deployment of ERP system enhancements, upgrades, patches, and new functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ERP transactions and business processes.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to ERP users to ensure consistent and effective system utilization.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend ERP-based solutions that increase productivity, data visibility, and process standardization.
  • Support cross-functional projects involving Operations, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and IT.
  • Monitor ERP transactional compliance and promote adherence to standard business processes.
What you’ll do:
  • Analyze ERP data to identify process gaps, system errors, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives by ensuring proper system transactions and master data governance.
  • Participate in ERP implementations, new module deployments, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Analysts to automate reports, dashboards, and workflow improvements.
  • Ensure planning parameters, lead times, scheduling policies, and inventory settings are properly maintained to support MRP accuracy.
  • Assist in root cause analysis of transactional issues affecting production, material planning, customer deliveries, or inventory performance.
  • Maintain strong communication between business users and IT to prioritize ERP support requests and enhancement projects.
  • Promote continuous improvement using Lean principles, process standardization, and best practices.
  • Support KPI reporting related to ERP adoption, transaction accuracy, inventory integrity, planning performance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain systems, ERP data management or supply chain support required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ERP Key User experience (MAPICS,SAP preferred), MRP, BOMs, Routings, WorkCenters, Planning Parameters, Orders, Shipping, Procurement, Manufacturing Processes, Inventory Transactions, Master Data Management, Power BI, Query, SQL
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering from an accredited institution
