Job description

Job Summary 

The ERP Analyst is responsible for leading, managing, configuring, and optimizing the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to support business operations. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring that the ERP platform is aligned with company processes and operational goals. 

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Configure ERP workflows, settings, and modules within approved standards to support business requirements. 
  • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate approved business needs into ERP configuration, functional specifications, and testing requirements. 
  • Support system testing for upgrades, patches, enhancements, and customizations. 
  • Troubleshoot ERP issues, support root-cause analysis, and provide ERP subject-matter guidance to users and support teams. 
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support decision-making. 
  • Coordinate with ERP vendors on issue resolution, upgrades, and enhancements.  
  • Assist with data integrity, process improvements, and system maintenance. 
  • Coordinate ERP administrative controls, including user access requests, role/security reviews, and segregation-of-duties alignment. 
  • Support ERP change intake, impact assessment, testing coordination, release readiness, and post-release validation. 
  • Maintain ERP configuration documentation, support procedures, and recurring issue patterns to strengthen governance and continuity. 
  • Help monitor ERP data quality, system exceptions, and recurring support trends to identify issues requiring business or process-owner follow-up. 
  • Support or lead defined workstreams within ERP implementations, enhancements, and module rollouts. 
  • Analyzing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.  
  • Partner with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to identify ERP-enabled process improvement opportunities. 

 Essential Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related fields or/and equivalent experience or a combination of both. 
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle 
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and system interfaces is preferred. 
  • Experience with testing, documentation, and support processes. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

 Certifications: 

  • ERP-related certifications such as Microsoft Business Central, SAP or Oracle certifications are a plus.
