Occupational Therapist Home Health - Full Time - Prescott Valley, AZ
Student Loan Contribution Payment Program
At Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 15 years and has earned The Joint Commission's Stroke Certification and Brain Injury Certification. At our 44-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services, as well as Home Health services to our patients, serving the communities of Northern Arizona. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.
We are seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications
Required Skills:
  • Current licensure as Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona.
  • Graduate from an Occupational therapist curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and American Occupational Therapy Association required.
  • Current CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
  • Fingerprint certification through state of Arizona required
  • Two (2) years working experience; one (1) year Home Health experience strongly preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Responsibilities
In accordance with physician orders and plan of care, administers occupational therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
