About This Opportunity
Ericsson Mobile Financial Services is seeking an experienced Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our growing team in the United States. In this role, you will serve as the technical and solution cornerstone of our sales engagements - translating complex fintech platform capabilities into compelling, customer-focused solutions that drive business growth and build lasting partnerships. We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of the US fintech landscape, hands-on experience in presales or solution architecture within fintech technology companies, and an established network of customers and partners across the US market. This is a US-based, full-time role with travel requirements, primarily located in Plano, TX.
What you will do
  • Lead the end-to-end presales solution process, from discovery and requirements analysis through solution design, demonstrations, proposals, and technical presentations.
  • Serve as the primary technical and solution advisor to prospective customers, positioning Ericsson Mobile Financial Services capabilities as a strategic fit for their business needs.
  • Design and present tailored solution architectures addressing challenges across mobile money, digital wallets, payment platforms, and financial inclusion use cases.
  • Develop and deliver clear solution narratives and value propositions for technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior executives.
  • Create technical-commercial proposals, solution blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses that articulate business value and competitive differentiation.
  • Leverage your existing US market network to proactively identify, engage, and advance new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation.
  • Stay current on US fintech market trends, regulatory developments, and the competitive landscape.
  • Contribute to reusable solution assets, including reference architectures, demo environments, and best-practice documentation.
  • Support partner-led sales engagements and mentor colleagues to build presales and solution architecture capability across the team.

Skills you will bring
  • 10+ years of experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting within fintech or financial services organizations in the US.
  • A demonstrated track record of leading complex, solution-driven sales engagements in the fintech or financial services technology space.
  • An established network of customer and partner contacts across the US fintech market, with the ability to accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Strong technical understanding of fintech platforms, including mobile money, digital payments, wallet infrastructure, APIs, and cloud-based financial services architectures.
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Solid skills in solution design, proposal writing, presentation delivery, and RFP responses.
  • A commercial mindset with understanding of pricing models, business cases, and solution design implications.
  • A collaborative, customer-first approach with the ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a US-based role while staying connected to a global team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
