This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in the Smart Power Division located in North Mississippi/Memphis area.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Operating within the approved budget and managing the warehouse staff activities to optimize resource utilization and determines corrective actions for cost-related issues as necessary.
- Improving warehouse operations using lean practices.
- Planning and optimizing warehouse utilization and inventory.
- Increasing the WH accuracy while implementing sustainable process improvements
- Monitoring the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeping stock control systems up to date; and overseeing stock control and processing orders.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in SAP WM/EWM (goods receipt, goods issue, transfer orders, inventory management)
- Strong knowledge of KPI development and reporting (fill rate, inventory accuracy, cycle count, etc.)
- Familiarity with WMS systems, barcoding, and RF scanning technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis
- Proven track record managing multi-shift warehouse teams (20+ direct/indirect reports)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a master's degree or professional certification (APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) considered assets.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-value inventory ($50M+ preferred; $80M+ ideal)
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Warehouse Manager or equivalent leadership role
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) module
- Experience implementing 5S, Kaizen, or similar methodologies in a warehouse environment
- Strong inventory control practices including cycle counting, FIFO, and reconciliation
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
- Experience with inbound/outbound logistics coordination and carrier management
- Ability to manage budgets, labor planning, and cost control for warehouse operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations and material shortage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across procurement, operations, and finance
- Ability to lead change and drive a culture of accountability and safety
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (especially electrical/automation industries)
- Exposure to ERP system upgrades or SAP migrations
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
