How You’ll Contribute

As a Treasury Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting EquiTrust's daily treasury operations by helping manage cash flow, payment processing, banking activities, and financial reporting. You'll collaborate with teams across Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other business areas to ensure efficient treasury operations while identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational effectiveness.

We're looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering accurate financial results while continuously improving the way work gets done.

What You’ll Do
  • Monitor daily cash positions, liquidity, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Process and oversee ACH, wire, check, and credit card payments.
  • Coordinate funding for operational bank accounts and resolve banking discrepancies.
  • Support monthly bank reconciliations and cash-related general ledger activities.
  • Prepare treasury reports and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and bank confirmation requests.
  • Administer vendor enrollment, including W-9 documentation and payment setup.
  • Assist with escheatment reporting, 1099 processing, and foreign exchange settlements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across the organization on treasury-related initiatives and special projects.
What You’ll Bring

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3 or more years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to streamline processes.
Physical Requirements
  • Primarily sedentary work requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Frequently uses hands for keyboard and computer work.
  • Occasionally stands, walks, bends, or reaches.
  • May occasionally lift or move items up to 20 pounds.

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal to no travel expected
Compensation and Pay Philosophy

The salary range for this role is $57,094.00-$78,505.00. This reflects the expected compensation for the position at the time of posting. The final offer will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity, and may be higher or lower than the posted range. The pay range is subject to change in the future in accordance with applicable laws. EquiTrust is committed to fair and competitive compensation that considers individual and organizational needs.
