Job description

Join a well-established equipment manufacturer and service provider supporting supporting specialized equipment for construction and utility companies across the central Texas region. This position is responsible for leading the daily operations of a growing branch service department, overseeing technicians, coordinating service activities, and ensuring exceptional customer support.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of leadership experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate the daily activities of service technicians and shop personnel
* Dispatch technicians and assign work orders based on customer needs and operational priorities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service and equipment support inquiries
* Monitor maintenance activities, service costs, and equipment repair performance
* Oversee service department operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
* Manage ERP data, service records, and maintenance reporting for accuracy
* Monitor parts inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed
* Train, coach, and develop service technicians while promoting a strong team culture
* Track service metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with company safety standards, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
* Previous management or supervisory experience within a service, maintenance, or repair operation
* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment, diesel, automotive, construction equipment, truck repair, or related service industries
* Experience coordinating service activities, dispatching technicians, or overseeing maintenance operations

* Rental equipment industry experience is a plus
