Job description

Equipment Reliability & Asset Care Technician

Location: Greenville, SC | Hiring Immediately

A day in this role

Clock in at 6:00 a.m. and step onto a floor where your craftsmanship keeps production moving. You’ll diagnose issues quickly, perform basic troubleshooting, and apply hands-on skills—from welding (MIG, gas, torch) and basic plumbing to work on A/C and D/C electrical systems. Expect to service basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems, operate machine shop equipment like drill presses, lathes, and saws, and use testing equipment safely and correctly. You’ll work with motors and motor starters, read electrical schematics, and document work in the SAP maintenance module.

Throughout the day, you’ll switch seamlessly between independent tasks and team projects, uphold a clean, safe workspace, and follow standardized work instructions. You’ll practice Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain strict adherence to GMP, SOP, environmental, and safety procedures. And when priorities change, you’re ready—other duties come with the territory.

Compensation & schedule
  • Starting pay at $28.41 an hour - paid weekly
  • Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases
  • Eligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity*

  • Technical strengths: Electrical Repair; Pneumatics Troubleshooting; Lockout/Tagout (LOTO); Electrical Schematic Reading
  • Shop fundamentals: Basic machine shop knowledge (drill presses, lathes, saws) and a general working knowledge of machine shop equipment
  • Systems & tools: Understanding of SAP maintenance module; proper and safe methods to use various testing equipment
  • Mindset: Able to work independently and as part of a team; maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Communication: Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Essential functions
  • Ability to work a 8, 10 and/or 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods
  • Climb as required by the job
  • Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms

Bring your curiosity, steady hands, and problem-solving mindset—and help keep Greenville’s production humming.
