What we are looking for
Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all.
We're searching for a Staff Stock Administrator. This is a highly visible position that would oversee the daily end-to-end equity administration, including grant uploads, quarterly share pool reconciliations, option exercises, RSU vesting, and participant education/support. This individual would also play a key role in building and scaling the company's equity programs, assisting in upcoming system implementation projects, and enhancing processes to support a growing, global organization.
In this role you will
  • Maintain equity databases with the transfer agent and brokerage system/Client Service Manager
  • Process participant, grant, transaction, and demographic updates
  • Monitor incoming file feeds, data transfers, and administrative workflows
  • Document processes, procedures, and issue resolutions to participants
  • Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting to key stakeholders
  • Support special projects, implementations, transitions, and other equity-related initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively across Payroll, Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal, Tax, Technology, Operations, and other business functions

Required qualifications
  • Support audit, control, compliance, and documentation requirements
  • Follow applicable service, risk, and control procedures
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve existing processes
  • Strong project-management and prioritization skills
  • Certified Equity Professional designation or ECA credential
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
  • 5-8 years of stock plan administration experience with a public company
  • Experience with E*TRADE EEO system

Desirable qualifications
  • Experience with transfer agent system, Equiniti (formerly AST) and HIRS system, Workday
  • Experience with Fidelity PSW netbenefits system

For roles based in Mountain View, CA, San Francisco, CA, and Seattle, WA: The salary range for this position is $127,000 - $204,000 per year.
For roles based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Livonia, MI, and Louisville, CO: The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $184,000 per year.
Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
