To thrive as an Epoxy Coating Technician, you need a solid understanding of surface preparation, mixing and applying epoxy materials, and knowledge of safety protocols, usually gained through vocational training or on-the-job experience. Familiarity with tools like grinders, squeegees, trowels, and protective equipment, as well as certifications in OSHA safety or hazardous materials handling, is typically required.
