TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Salt Lake City, Utah, 84124!

Travel RN – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, including both a Main ED and Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) locations
  • Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 while collaborating with a team that includes paramedics, EMTs, and dedicated unit secretaries
  • Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly using the Epic electronic health records system
  • Float between the Main ED and FSED units as required per unit floating policy
  • Meet scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Current PALS certification
  • TNCC or ENPC certification
  • CPI certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department with both adult and pediatric patients
  • Proficiency with Epic documentation system
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
