Job description

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Participates within a team environment with the responsibility for providing Epic training in multiple applications. Serves as a subject matter expert for user workflows within Epic. Delivers instruction to workforce via classroom learning, orientation of new employees, coaching and mentoring to improve performance and evaluation of educational activities focusing on process improvement and automation opportunities (Including AI). Responsible for obtaining and maintaining knowledge of software functionality. Provides support and feedback to IS staff regarding needs for changes in design, materials, scripts and evaluation tools. Mentors other staff within the team. Please Note: This is a remote position. Samaritan does not provide equipment for travelers. A virtual desktop will be set up for the selected candidate; however, they will be expected to supply their own computer, monitors, and mouse. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent experience required. Experience in Information Technology and/or technical training required. Must have an Epic CT/PT Proficiency OR Certification in EpicCare Ambulatory in an Outpatient setting. 1-3+ years of hands-on Epic Training experience including classroom or virtual instruction. Experience and/or training with MS Office and media equipment required. Experience in multimedia tools/programs preferred. Experience and/or training in teaching distance and/or computer-based learning preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Manager looking for: Strong communication/facilitation and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with LMS platforms PT Proficiency OR Certification in Beacon PT Proficiency OR Certification in Wound PT Proficiency OR Certification in Hospice Previous Experience in Jeeves
