Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a Neuro Surgical Specialty unit requiring 2 years of acute inpatient tele RN experience and NIHSS certification.

Details
  • Neuro Surgical Specialty unit with 34 beds
  • Patient ratio of 4-5:1
  • Patient population consists of spine and neuro surgical cases (not stroke)
  • Uses lumbar/JP drains, wound vac, traction, PCA, trach, EKG, and feeding tubes
  • Utilizes Epic EMR
  • Day shift 6:45a-7:15p, working every other weekend
  • 36 hours per week over 3 shifts
  • 14-week assignment
Requirements
  • Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
  • Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient tele RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
  • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care
