Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule: Night shifts (schedule varies) - 36 hours expected per week.
  • Manage a mixed Med/Surg patient assignment with a
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and pain management.
  • Monitor for changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (EPIC).
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and nursing standards.
  • Support a positive unit culture - no teaching responsibilities for travelers.
  • Consistent night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Must have skills: Registered Nurse, RN, Medical Surgical, Med Surg, BLS, Level 1 Trauma, EPIC (implied).
  • Active RN License (GA or Compact State)
  • AHA BLS certification (required)
  • ACLS certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
  • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma OR mid-large size hospital setting
  • No requested time off (RTO)
  • Ability to work night shifts (schedule varies), 36 hours guaranteed per week
  • Both local and travel candidates considered - local candidates eligible to apply
  • Positive attitude and timeliness are required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
  • Excellent time management and prioritization in a 5-6:1 ratio
  • Proficiency in EMR documentation (EPIC preferred)
