Invite a friend Back to job search Job Description: Due to our continued growth, ACE Recycling & Disposal is seeking Rear Load Drivers to join our team serving the Salt Lake County area. Rear Load Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently collecting waste and recycling on assigned routes while providing exceptional customer service. Safely operate a rear-load garbage truck and complete assigned collection routes in a timely manner.

Collect and transport waste and recyclable materials in accordance with company policies and all applicable regulations. Follow daily route schedules while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, service, and efficiency. Communicate and work closely with Dispatch and Supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.

Interact with customers and the public in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Start Time: 6:00 a.m

Starting Pay: $24.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). Experience and Skills: Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement. Must have 6 months minimum of driving commercial vehicle experience

Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to operate a mobile tablet to communicate with supervisor or Dispatch (sending messages, attaching photos, concerns on route interruptions) The ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk, and other physical requirements as necessary to complete daily duties and responsibilities. Ace drivers are responsible for operating waste and recycle trucks in a safe manner.

Our drivers must conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner; ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to read and write to maintain daily records.
