We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to provide exceptional service and support for our Personal Lines clients. In this role, you will partner closely with our Producers to manage an established book of business, build strong client relationships, and deliver responsive, high-quality service through the policy lifecycle.

Location and Schedule

This is a hybrid position working three days in our Bel Air, Maryland office (2 days in the office during Summer months, 3 days otherwise).

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $45,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and licensing. This position is also eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities.

About You

Our team is the key to our success. You are looking for a role working with great team members providing exceptional customer service and you:

  • Have experience with VOIP / client contact
  • Have a 2-3 years Personal Line Insurance Experience
  • Have a minimum 2 years+ account management or relationship management experience in insurance
  • Have AMS: Epic Experience (preferred)
  • Have a current P&C insurance license (required)
  • Experience managing and supporting high-net-worth clients
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Bring a strong knowledge of Agency Management Systems (EPIC), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Are comfortable working in a hybrid environment
  • Are authorized to work in the United States
  • Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Are known for your exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

You also have current license/certification for:

  • Property and Casualty License (required)
  • Life and Health License (preferred)

About the Job

The Account Manager provides day-to-day service and support to Personal Lines clients while partnering with Producers and carrier representatives to ensure an exceptional client experience. This position manages policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, and client communications while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service a personal lines book of business
  • Manage renewal process
  • Re-Market renewals as needed
  • Manage online rating and quoting
  • Process change requests
  • Appropriately document conversations with clients and carrier representatives and updates all computer systems and automated agency management systems when necessary. Ensure the accuracy of data in those systems.
  • Prepare Evidence of Property
  • Expedite billing inquiries
  • Address any coverage questions with insureds
  • Process cancellations and reinstatements
  • Stay up to date on carrier programs, compliance, regulation and other relevant industry information.
  • Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and colleagues.
  • Meet or exceed customer service standards and client retention targets.
  • Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service and claims issues.
  • Prepare reports for management as required.
  • Attend industry-related continuing education training and courses.
  • Collaborate and support colleagues as needed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

This position operates in a professional office and hybrid work environment with controlled temperature and artificial lighting conditions. Long periods of sitting. Long periods of screen use.
