What You ll Do
  • Provide inpatient coverage for adult patients in a busy hospital setting
  • Manage unassigned ED patients requiring hospital admission
  • Collaborate with intensivists on adult ICU admissions and care
  • Co-manage transfer patients and support consults in-hospital
  • Participate in team-based patient care alongside APPs and other specialists
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and coordination
  • Support a team-oriented, flexible schedule in a renowned regional referral center

What You Need
  • Alabama medical license or eligible for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hospitalist or internal medicine experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
