Duration: 13 Weeks

Please ensure your traveler is aware of the below: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position with Ochsner Health, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You should not apply for a role at Ochsner Health if you are not comfortable with the above.

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license takes 14 days; must apply within 48 hours of signing).

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab (no first-time travelers). Proficiency in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs). Skilled in Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices. Must be experienced in STEMI care with focus on FTB/DTB < 60 minutes. Capable of performing peripheral and EP procedures.

About the Lab: Progressive facility performing cardiac, peripheral, vascular (diagnostic & interventional), EP, and IR procedures. Advanced equipment: Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, Angiojet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, Diamondback, Medrad/Acist injectors. Imaging: Siemens (floor mount, ceiling mount coming soon) and Cannon labs. EMR: EPIC with Cupid documentation. Highly efficient Code STEMI team with system-best D2B times.
