Job description

Overview

The Clinical Informatics team plays a critical role in supporting nearly 1,000 At Home employees by ensuring accurate and timely patient documentation, as well as efficient billing, order tracking, and overall EMR functionality. In addition, this team is responsible for onboarding and training all field staff on the EMR, while also providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for EPIC and documentation-related issues.

Responsibilities

Our Clinical Informatics Educator is responsible for the development, implementation, optimization, and support of the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for Home Care and Hospice . This role provides EPIC orientation, training, and ongoing support to clinical staff, evaluates system functionality and workflows, recommends improvements, and serves as a frontline resource for end-user support. The Clinical Informatics Educator collaborates with clinical, operational, and IT teams to enhance documentation practices, improve user adoption, and support quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current clinical license and registration in NYS as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Ability to interpret statistical data, conduct in-service training, and educate large groups of people.
  • Advanced Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. EPIC experience preferred.
  • Masters in Clinical Informatics preferred.

  • Strong home care background
Pay RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.Qualifications

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
